MSP-150 Submersible Pump

The MSP-150 is a compact, high-capacity submersible screw-centrifugal pump designed for efficient offloading of medium to heavy viscous liquids. Built for demanding marine and industrial use, it offers low-emulsification performance and is fully compatible with bladder-based storage systems like the Canflex Sea Slug.

Description

The MSP-150 Submersible Pump is a robust, hydraulically driven offloading solution built to handle medium to heavy viscosity fluids in challenging environments. Featuring a screw-centrifugal impeller, the MSP-150 combines low shear operation with high-volume performance—delivering up to 300 m³/hr at 40 m head. This unique impeller design ensures gentle fluid handling, making it ideal for oil recovery, sludge removal, tank cleaning, and use within Canflex Sea Slug bladders.

Its compact, submersible body fits securely inside a 25” ID aluminum bladder hatch, forming a watertight seal for clean and efficient offloading. Constructed with seawater-resistant aluminum casing, stainless steel impellers, and nodular cast iron screw components, the MSP-150 is engineered for strength, safety, and long-term durability.

This pump is used globally by oil recovery teams and coast guards and is compatible with standard hydraulic power packs for mobile or remote operations.

Key Performance Highlights

  • Efficient for High-Viscosity Fluids – Moves heavy fuel oils, molasses, and sludge without clogging or emulsification.

  • Low Shear Design – Screw-centrifugal impeller reduces turbulence, preserving fluid integrity.

  • Submersible & Bladder-Ready – Designed to mount securely within Canflex Sea Slug storage tanks for direct internal offloading.

  • Robust Construction – Built with marine-grade aluminum casing, stainless steel impellers (AISI 316), and a nodular cast iron screw.

  • High Output – Delivers up to 300 m³/hr with a max head of 40 m and operates at 320 bar hydraulic pressure.

  • Portable & Versatile – Compact and rugged; deployable in marine salvage, oil recovery, industrial pumping, and field fueling.

  • Non-Clogging & Safe – No risk of overload even when blocked; ideal for remote field use with a diesel hydraulic power pack.
