The Enclosed Pillow Lift Bag (EPB Series) is an enclosed buoyancy device designed for controlled lifting, stabilization, and relocation of submerged loads. Manufactured from urethane-coated, oil- and fuel-resistant high-tenacity polyester, the EPB Series is suitable for commercial diving, marine salvage, underwater construction, and recovery operations where predictable lift and load control are required
Key Features & Benefits
✔ Multiple Lift Points – The lift bag is provided with multiple attachment points, allowing use in vertical single-point lifting or bottom pick-up arrangements using shackles, to accommodate different lifting and recovery methodologies.
✔ Overpressure Protection and Buoyancy Control – The lift bag is fitted with automatic pressure relief valves set at 2.5 PSI, together with distributed venting points and controlled inflation and deflation connections, enabling progressive buoyancy adjustment and controlled ascent, including near-surface operations, while preventing over-pressurization.
✔ Wide-Profile Pillow Geometry for Enhanced Stability – The pillow shape lift bag (envelope shape) provides a broad contact area under the load, improving stability and reducing lateral displacement during initial lift and positioning in shallow water conditions.
✔ Heavy-Duty Fabric Construction – Urethane-coated high-tenacity polyester providing high tear resistance and durability in marine environments
✔ Load Restraint System / Attachment hardware– The restraint system is fitted with certified polyester webbing straps and 5/8 in safety shackles, providing secure load transfer and compatibility with standard salvage rigging hardware.
✔ Controlled Inflation & Deflation – The lift bag incorporates stainless steel 3/4 in NPT ball valves with male and female camlock connections, permitting controlled air supply, venting, and offload using standard commercial diving equipment.
✔ Transport & Stowage – Optional PVC carry/storage bag with Velcro and buckle closure
✔ System Scalability – Available in lifting capacities from 100 kg to 5,000 kg, supporting a wide range of shallow-water salvage, recovery, and marine construction tasks

The EPB-SW series incorporates all features of the standard EPB design and includes additional characteristics intended to improve stability and control during near-surface lifting operations.
✔ Central Attachment Point for Precision Load Trim – All Shallow Water models include a dedicated central attachment point that allows precise trimming and alignment of the load, improving balance and reducing pitch and roll during near-surface lifting operations.
